I am sure many of you already know I am rotating at Staten Island University Hospital right now. I finished a month in the Burn Unit- the most fascinating and rewarding experience yet! Now, I am on my final week of general surgery. Besides the long hours and intense OR, I have found ways to enjoy surgery. I split my time between surgeries (cholecystectomies, appendectomies, excisions of lipomas, etc, etc, etc), visiting my patients and of course studying surgery! Here is a picture of myself and fellow AUC student Briza outside the hospital. I hope to put up more pics soon.
